People´s own attitude has a major impact on energy savings - the employer's problem
The attitude to energy conservation in industry depends on the financial impact, but financial reasons are usually also an obstacle to the sustainable use of energy.

The employer's problem is often money-saving. New environmentally friendly machines and equipment involve substantial costs and frequently companies do not acquire them. Although the new device would save the environment significantly, it will not normally be installed, unless the acquisition achieves a great enough economic benefit within at least a five year period.
It is also usual that companies save in the wrong place, such as planning. Incorrectly sized pumps and motors consume a surprisingly large amount of electricity and do not necessarily even work the process in an optimal way. It is also possible that the device is initially selected too big, because of fear of losing its power during use or production might be thought to grow over the years.
The importance of planning cannot be underestimated, nor the use of process design. For example, for equipment for automatic washes optimization is of great significance. The negligent operation of washing processes can, at worst, lead to the waste off thousands of liters of water and tens of thousands of liters of cleaning chemicals. Processes, good planning and continuous development is of major importance to environmentally friendly industrial production.
Research question: We often save energy and water at home but what about when we work? Do we ignore everything we have learn?
