No linked challenges.
No linked visions.
Education for all, all over the world.
Education is the backbone of a nation. No nation can see prosperity without education. There are hundreds of thousands of educational institute across the globe, yet millions of people are left uneducated despite enormous efforts. In this vision, I envision of a 100% literate world.
The only country that has 100% literacy rate is Georgia. Even though most countries have literacy rate more than 50 percent of the population, there are some countries whose literacy rate falls bellow 30 percent. Education is important and that is why almost all governments around the world have some educational projects such as free education till the primary school and some even have made education as human right in the constitution.
UNESCO's (United nation's educational scientific and cultural organization) education for all movement at the world conference in 1990 had opened eye for many visionaries of the world. Representatives’ from 155 countries along with 150 organization pledged to provide education for all by the year 2000, however even after a decade passed the 1990's set deadline there are so many young people around the world who does not get the opportunity to study. Child abuse and Child workforce and poverty is another issue in the developing country that is a barrier to the growth of educated population.
I dream of a world where every human gets the opportunity to explore and study, where everyone is educated. The governments should create more awareness and should provide education for all sectors of people. Let the world be literate 100%
