SCHOOL BULLYING
Nowadays its a common thing to se students being bullied at school and in many surrounding educational places by fellow students.
The common description of a bully is a big, fat, strong, ugly boy or girl in class as most youngsters would describe but nowadays the description mentioned above doesn’t really matter and takes less importance. Almost most of adults today have gone through some form of bullying during their school life. This urge hasn’t stopped and I doubt if it will.
There are four types of bullying of which two are old fashioned and the other two are new and dangerous . These are (1) Physical bullying which includes punching, shoving , slapping , debagging ,wedgies, attacking , school pranks, teasing ,abusing, fighting and profanity (2) emotional bullying includes Spreading bad rumors about people, keeping certain people out of a group, teasing people in mean ways, cussing someone, Getting certain people to gang up on others, name calling, harassment, provocation , tormenting, whispering to another in front of someone , walking in groups at school and keeping secrets away from a so-called friend.
(3) Electronic bullying normally occurs on the internet, mobile phones and other electronic means of communications. e.g. Sending mean text, e-mail or instant messages, posting inappropriate pictures or messages about others in blogs or on Web sites, Using someone else's user name to spread rumors or lies about someone and the final type of bullying which is the most dangerous is (4) school shooting for most of the time the shooter was being bullied as An investigation undertaken by the US Secret Service found that in many cases attackers bullied, threatened, attacked, or injured by others prior to the incident.
Research question: what can teachers, students and schools do to stop school bullings?
