Preparing into climate change can be cost effective
If done right way, decreasing human impact to nature, can make our products and production more effective, and save resources, including money.
There is debate in the science community and outside it, if the climate change is man made, or is it just a natural phenomenon. This arguing is not necessarily important, because as long as there is chance that human activity is increasing it, it is safer to prepare for the worst scenario, then just wait and see. In fact, it might be smart to use this opportunity to concentrate some of our resources into research to stop the climate change. It might as well pay itself back.
The right way to save the natural resources and to decrease the emission of the greenhouse gasses is to increase the effectiveness of the production and to lower the energy use and in same time to change from using non-renewable resources sources into using renewable or perpetual resources. This in the long run will start to pay the cost of the investments back.
At this moment, many of those alternative methods using renewable resources are less cost effective then using older and more traditional non-renewable resources, this is in many cases because the old method has already been developed for long time. Now it takes time and resources invested in scientific research to optimise other production methods that would in long run are more cost effective.
Beneficiaries include all major organisations, companies and private individuals. When the energy effective alternatives are found, it can reduce the overall costs of the energy consumption. Wasting of energy and resources doesn’t serve any of us, outside some energy producers.
Opportunity: If done right way, investments and research will pay themselves back.
Threat: If done wrong way, result could be waste of resources and, even damaging to the nature
