Lack of Student appartments

The demand for the reasonable rented apartments has increased lately and the supply of the rented apartment has become more difficult.

The demand for the students' apartments has been the hardest this summer in ten years, especially in the Metropolitan area and City of Tampere. There the demand for the student apartments is big whereas on smaller localities one can get the student apartment more easily. The many one which had designed the buying of the apartment hesitates and more preferably changes to the rent. In that case the students will be left with the rented apartments fewer, says Timo Metsola from Vuokraturva Oy.

Those students whose study place ensures only about this time are in an especially difficult position.

Difficult to get advantageous rented apartments. Because the hardest demand is directed just into smaller rented apartments, its better to look the bigger apartments of which there is considerably more on the market. Nearly a third of all the students live in the student apartments which usually are 2-3 students' cell apartment.

There must be more flats for students.
